Got this interesting-looking read from the kooky and cool local bookshop tagged above. It's the first time I've been in there and I was very close to picking a date with a book that involved cannibalism, a shipwreck, and an island... I have seen a few books recently published related to islands and shipwrecks but I think this could be The Lion's Den, which I've read so I passed on this and went with the blood-curdling, yet quirky Mother Thing.
