I‘ve been binging SWORD ART ONLINE, both in the light novel and the anime. It‘s not my first time reading this light novel, and I wanted to get a feel for what Reki Kawahara did so well here. This time it‘s research for a future writing project of my own.

Finally started this today. Only a few pages in, but it feels really nice to dive back into the beginnings of this series, especially via the original source material.

Some of my books I ordered came in today!!!! First, I got the first volume of the light novel series Sword Art Online!!! I was told that the books were way better than the anime series and I already liked the series so, I should love the books!!! Lol!!!

I read this book, because I'm a fan of the anime. While the quality of the writing isn't the best, this story does a brilliant job of taking virtual role-playing games and giving them life-and-death stakes.
