The Planetary Omnibus | 
#bookmail have a trip coming up and I am so happy these arrived in time for it so I have reading material for plane and trains! Have to decide what to read first. Probably Planetary since book one was so incredible and I really want to read the rest! shame there's no more planetary after this! It's so good.
So I finished the first two volumes of Death Note ( sooo good and sooo incredibly dark!) and now I don't have any more to read so I figured I'd finally give this comic a try! I've heard only great things about it! I'm about a third of the way through and really enjoying it!
I told a friend who loves comics that she needs to read PLANETARY, and she's all reluctant because she thinks it sounds boring.
To be honest, I'm offended as all hell and I have no idea where she's coming from. I really think this is gonna be like when I recced COMMUNITY to her and she said she wasn't interested, but a year later she was singing its praises.

Oh man, Planetary is a spectacular comic book. Every issue is a different genre, as 3 operatives of the Planetary Organization investigate various global weirdnesses. One of those operatives communicates with technology through the beat of his drum sticks. I‘ll let him introduce himself.

3 titles I'm currently enjoying, since I could go on and on when it comes to comic book recommendations (ESP Alan Moore work). Lazarus, Lost Girl and Planetary are amazing.
