Spent the weekend celebrating the Mrs.' birthday by exploring Quebec City (our first time visiting) including a stop at Librairie Pantoute, a great little bookstore if one speaks French 😀

Suet624 My parents spent their honeymoon at the Chateau and I‘ve always wanted to see it in person. 1y
The_Penniless_Author @Suet624 It was beautiful. We didn't get to stay there, unfortunately (a bit too expensive), but we did stay at the Clarendon, which is the oldest hotel in Quebec. 1y
Suet624 How wonderful. Some day I‘ll get there. 1y

Thank you @eggs #WondrousWednesday

❶ Used to be winter, but I'm too creaky for it now.
❷ Reading in a pile of blankets.
❸ I'd like to live closer to tagged, so I could visit anytime. It's my happy place, 5h away.
❹ My son started school again at an actual physical school. I can have silence to work without interruptions! (yes the dangers of contagion are muuuuuch higher than zero, but I don't regret it)

Eggs Love the reading in blankets idea 💡📚🍁 3y

Pickpick

I keep forgetting to review, tag and boost my favourite bookstore on the entire planet, Librairie Pantoute in Quebec City. I spent a good third of my waking time in its first location in my teenage years and with its other location it's now double the pleasure. Go there.

wanderinglynn That looks like a lovely bookshop! 5y

DS9 7.11 #ProdigalDaughter I'm torn about this one. Technically a follow-up to yesterday's, with O'Brien dealing with the consequences of his actions, but rather it's centred on Ezri. And murder. Could have explored Trill society, but it ends up repeating the tired cliché story of a domineering mother and how she made her children sad. That's not how domineering mothers work. I know, I have one. #startreksummerjune

Tagged my favourite bookstore.

Megabooks And I‘m not entirely sure it fits the prodigal son story well. I haven‘t decided what to say about it yet. 6y
tournevis @Megabooks It doesn't, other than the fact she comes back and has a terribly jealous sibbling. 6y
