Lovely Gothic romantic suspense, in the vein of Mary Stewart or Elizabeth Peters writing as Barbara Michaels. So delicious on a cold afternoon with a cuppa.

Well this was like daphne du maurier meets a David Mamet movie. Gothic romance set in the 1960s. Dialogue so creepy it borders on campy. Good mystery to boot!
Another Victoria Holt. This one seemed a little more outlandish, but it was still fun to read, and check out that awesome cover!
