robinb unwittingly led the villain to her door. As they begin to break down the other‘s defenses, can they each overcome their past trust issues to find a future together? I enjoyed this story, but I actually had a few qualms with the hero, Ethan. While yes, he was swoony and had his tender moments, he could also be a bit of a dolt with his trust issues. I felt that his initial instinct to paint all women with the same brush as his former fiancé ⬇️ (edited) 1y
robinb was just a bit overdone. I loved Francesca and felt that she was a good, strong-willed match for him, and there were some tender (and steamy!) scenes that were well written/well executed.

All-in-all, a good beginning to the series. 4/5⭐️
