This one may be my favorite.. so far anyway. So good! Vi is one tough cookie! I admit I wasn't the biggest fan of her in the beginning of the series, now she's quickly becoming a favorite. She's coming into herself well and I'm enjoying reading her story.
I knew the person who betrayed her was going to from the beginning. I just had a feeling & all the things said just confirmed it for me but even so when it happened I was still a little shocked.

"You're the only thing holding me together right now."
"And you... you're the only thing that has ever made me fall apart."

Elise Kova has got some dang good lines!

On to the second book in the Vortex Chronicles! I reread Vortex Visions and am back to speed now.

I miss Vhalla and Aldrik 😫 but I don't mind Vi and Taavin though. I see Vhalla's determination and spirit coming out in Vi a bit now. I'm excited to see where her journey and her fate takes her.
