I sort of enjoyed reading this in an omg-this-is-such-a-horribly-bad-written-cliche kind of way.

I liked this story of a misfit who crashes funerals ending up helping the most popular boy in school solving his sister's murder. Cute without bringing on a gag reflex.
It's been a long time since I read anything YA, but this holds its own against any adult mystery. The characters were intelligent, decisive, and determined. I'm looking forward to reading other books in the series.
I give it: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
