so-soThe first of the series. It had a slow start for me. I was half way into the book before any action. A pretty dramatic ending, fast paced for the last chapters. I may read the second book.

This social distancing is giving me a good excuse to knock some books off my TBR shelf that have been on there for ages too long. Looking at the silver lining. I‘m home safe with my kids, my husband is still able to work, and getting some reading done ☺️

pickIt is so much easier to find time to listen to audiobooks lately than it is to find time to read a book!! I finished this one up this morning while giving this little lady a bath before her vet visit today. She is now laying in the sun to dry ☀️ NYPD Red was full of adventure, kept me entertained (I used to find audiobooks boring/hard to follow) and it kept me guessing - I borrowed the next in the series right away on Libby as soon as I finished.
When you have a grandma who ROCKS at rummage sales and is always willing to feed your habit! All these hard covers by James Patterson for only $0.50 each! Good thing I had an open shelf!

Finished the book, now off for coffee and the Morning News! I started reading in the middle of the series, just realized. Is there a first book to Alex Cross? Should probably look later this weekend.
