“Did you greet the Four-Leggeds and celebrate the Winged-One‘s dances?”
I would use this book in a future classroom because it would teach children about a culture that may be different than their own, and it has beautiful imagery to keep students engaged.
This book was a very interesting book that comes from Native American culture. The language is engaging, lively, and keeps with oral tradition which would make this book a Traditional LIterature book. Also, the illustrations add and extend the story with the detail that is put into every single page.
“Did you greet the Four-Legends and celebrate the Winged-One's dances?“
I would use this in my classroom during the springtime or right before since it touches on the spring. The pictures are fun and would engage the students in the book.
This is a very interesting traditional literature book to read, this book is about how Indians viewed spring. They did this by nice and clear imagery that extends the story. The plot is simple and direct.
