Listened to this on audible. I know I wouldn‘t have loved it as much without hearing Robins fight with her bone marrow transplant without it coming from her own words. I just love her faith and her love of her family. I loved her stories about her mom. Great listen.
I'm listening to the audiobook and feel bad for wishing someone other than Robin Roberts had narrated it.
I am an unabashed ABC News fan girl. I am also NOT a morning person. In fact, I can be downright hostile in the a.m. But every morning these 2 fierce, fabulous women remind me how lucky I am (knocks wood) and how even people who have been dealt an absolutely shit hand can overcome, thrive, and inspire with grace and positivity. #photoadaynov16 #inspiring
this was an enjoyable read, especially since I work for a local abc affiliate. It was fascinating to read what was going on behind the scenes. all the family and personal stories were far more moving that I expected. Glad that I was able to read this one.
Loved this. Four stars. Such wisdom and grace she shares. Beautiful.
Her description of people owning how they handle their illness as their own hit home. So far, I like her authentic voice. (Listening to audio book)
