After a busy day doing laundry and baking (the oldest heads back to university tomorrow night so have to refresh his supplies 😊) I‘m finally sitting down to read the tagged book while hubby watches football in the background. Has anyone read The God Game yet?
pickThe God Game is an intense, fast-paced thriller. The characters are relatable and likable, and sometimes quite surprising. The short chapters that comprise the story greatly appealed to me; they really keep the pace of the story going, but aren‘t so short that they prevent you from getting into and immersed within the story. I don‘t usually read a lot of science fiction, techie stuff, but the premise sounded interesting. What if you could play a game that has some artificial intelligence and then it morphs into your real world decisions? It was a bit head-trippy, but I just rolled with it. I read this one in a day and think it‘s going to be a must-read in January 2020.
