After a busy day doing laundry and baking (the oldest heads back to university tomorrow night so have to refresh his supplies 😊) I‘m finally sitting down to read the tagged book while hubby watches football in the background. Has anyone read The God Game yet?

The God Game is an intense, fast-paced thriller. The characters are relatable and likable, and sometimes quite surprising. The short chapters that comprise the story greatly appealed to me; they really keep the pace of the story going, but aren‘t so short that they prevent you from getting into and immersed within the story. Thank you St Martin‘s Press for an ARC of The God Game, given in exchange for an honest review.

I don‘t usually read a lot of science fiction, techie stuff, but the premise sounded interesting. What if you could play a game that has some artificial intelligence and then it morphs into your real world decisions? It was a bit head-trippy, but I just rolled with it. I read this one in a day and think it‘s going to be a must-read in January 2020.
