I liked the artwork but the rest was meh for me. I did like the part where the legal hit contracts made government officials do their jobs better. Unrealistic of course, but I liked the sentiment. And the dog was cute too.
Set approximately 10 minutes in the future, the comic takes aim at the freelance economy & crowdfunding & envisions a near future where even assassination is handled that way. Party girl Charlie wakes to find herself the target of a million dollar campaign—everyone is trying to kill her & she hires Vita to keep her alive. Great story (odd couple/buddy comedy with loads of danger) with fantastic art—also, a love of libraries. I‘ll be reading more.
😂
This comic is hilarious. And that whole Saga & 2019‘s America have an angry baby and adopt a chihuahua thing? It‘s awesome.
This blurb! I‘m not strong enough to resist such a fabulously ridiculous—I mean, who doesn‘t want to know exactly what this looks like?!? You bet I‘m intrigued & am reading this tonight.
#NCBD!!! Catching up on Champions so picked up Issues #2 & 3 today—the first issue was good enough to see where the story goes. Also, Sparrowhawk #5, the concluding issue in the series. I‘ve heard good things about the tagged comic so diving in. Last but definitely not least, Middlewest #5–it‘s an impossibly gorgeous comic. Everything about it is fantastic—the story, the art & especially the colors which are, frankly, mesmerizing.
