Lucy is helping to solve a murder that Josie (her cousin) is suspected of committing. The only thing that bugged me (I almost stopped reading) was the grandmother (Gloria) who was too over the top rude/pushy and no one put a stop to it. I continued reading anyway and the rest of the characters, setting, and murder mystery were fine. Overall a good , typical, cozy mystery. (low pick)

#TLT (a couple of days late) - Thanks for asking @dabbe -
1. Quint and the Shark (Jaws )
2. Jan and George Glass (Brady Bunch)
3. Carol Burnett and Tim Conway (Carol Burnett Show)

One is based on book/movie, rest are TV shows - most of the couples I love from books had been spoken for (that's what you get for playing late 😂).

Make a great day everyone 🙂

TheBookgeekFrau Omg! Carol Burnett and Tim Conway 💕💕 So damn funny together! 1y
Ruthiella Quint and the shark! 😱😂 1y
dabbe 1. This one is similar to Ahab and Moby Dick! 🤩
2. “His name is George ... uh ... George Glass!“ 🤣
3. I watch skits of THE CAROL BURNETT show on youtube all the time. You could even say Tim Conway and Harvey Korman for the best bromance! 🤩
Thanks for playing! 🧡💜🧡

The Lighthouse Library Mystery series is my absolute favorite cozy mystery series. Eva Gates, has allowed her imagination to run wild by setting her novels in the Bodie Island Lighthouse, located in the Outer Banks, NC. It‘s a book lover‘s dream; a library inside the lighthouse with a tiny apartment. Lucy, the MC works and lives in the lighthouse. 🏖️

#Bookreport I love being able to listen to audio books at 1.5 speed. I get so much more reading done, especially if work is quiet and I can snag some time there as well. All 4 of my books read were enjoyable. The tagged book was my October #doublespin 3 🌟 Bookplate was 3 1/2 🌟and the other 2 were both 4 🌟 Hours logged for #cocoturns50 and #readyourway 7 hours #24B4Monday 3 hours = 171 pts for #TeamSlaughter

Enjoying this cozy mystery series set in a lighthouse library. Easy, entertaining listen while I finish my cross stitch ornaments.

Hope everyone in the US has a Thanksgiving full of love and yummy food. Good luck to everyone with challenging relatives. 😃

I really enjoyed this 5th book in the lighthouse library mystery series. Lucy is definitely unlucky when it comes to being in the middle of every murder on Bodie Island. I‘m not sure I would want to be friends lol. Thought it was a good storyline although some of the earlier books were somewhat better. Looking forward to reading the 6th book soon

Book 13 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner I think book 2 and book 3 were written better then book 4 & 5, but I still love these characters and setting. I thought the MC throwing away evidence wasn‘t plausible at this point since it is book 5 and she should know police procedures by now. And there needs to be snow on the cover since it is set in winter and she mentions snow a lot. But I did like some of her plot devices in this one.

Librarybelle Nice! 5y
ferskner Why would they leave out the snow?! 5y

The latest Lighthouse Library Mystery was especially fun to read because of how plausible it actually seemed that the main character got dragged into ametuer detecting this time. #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner

Librarybelle ❤️❤️❤️ 5y
ferskner That's a rarity with cozies! 5y
IndoorDame @ferskner I know! I actually thought the writing was a little better in the earlier books in this series, but this one aspect made me just fall in love with this one! 5y

I love this series. It‘s like my comfort listen. Lucy is a fun mystery solved librarian. I wasn‘t sure how it would all turn out - who did the crimes and how it was all connected - but it was tied up in a nice way. #readwomen #cozymystery
