You open this issue & find a letter notifying parents there was a “menstrual incident” at school & appropriate steps are being taken. Also, Maude receives a mislabeled colored pencil—she‘s not the only one. Next thing you know, the girls are at the pencil shop &...no spoilers. A fun read.
