Spent the day reading today with the heat and got 2 duds in a row. This was just a little annoying. The main character just came across very entitled to me and it got on my nerves. Not a fan.

I didn‘t understand the point of this book. A guy, below average height, suddenly starts growing at an alarming rate. You keep thinking there will be an explanation for the growth some sort of closure or lesson, but it never comes. Sorry to spoil, but I don‘t want you wasting your time. In the meantime there‘s an underlying current of normal angst that comes with coming-of-age stories. It was just too disjointed for my tastes to see the point
