Sin city
Sin city | Frank Miller
A guy like Marv, big and ugly, he doesn't get a whole bunch of chances with dames like Goldie. So when he wakes up three hours later, and someone's killed his goddess, he figures he'll find that someone and return the favor. But it won't be quick and quiet, the way it was with Goldie. It'll be loud and nasty. Illustrated in B&W. Graphic novel format.

I really love the artwork in this graphic novel. I watched the movies when they first came out, and had meant to read the graphic novels ever since. I'm glad I finally started!

Finished Umami - now I am going to head into graphic novel land for a bit and check out Sin City.

Erin7 What an interesting graphic. Took me a second to realize that it wasn‘t an ocean scene and was actually a face. I dig it. 6y
kindergartenkat Ya, the art in this book is pretty cool! 6y

#Riotgrams #CoolSpines

I haven't read these in about a decade. I'm sort of afraid to given the role women play in the series. BUT they do have the coolest spines I own.

Lmstraubie Very 😎 8y
Loretta @Lmstraubie Thanks! 8y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk Haha I also have that same set and also haven't read them in about that amount of time. 8y
Loretta @TobeyTheScavengerMonk Remember when everyone adores the first movie but then the second one came out and no one paid attention? LOL. I guess tastes change. 8y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk True story. And now V for Vendetta is super relevant again! Maybe The Far Side is just waiting for a resurgence. 8y
