After a book with Grubbs #slawter we are back in an even further past. Bec is a Little Girl that is to become a priestess though her magic is quite weak - until she meets Lord Loss. He‘s gives her power and in return takes her life. First one with a death of the main character of the book. Did not expect this! #littleone #runfast #allaredead

Ahhh. A quick gruesome and sorrowful read, just as expected from Darren Shan.

I love how each books darted back and forth over time, tracing the actions of the Demonata (or more precisely, Lord Loss). It showed me the greatness of the universe. Each book unfolds some secrets and introduces more mysteries. All have its own concept and plot. All enjoyable, if you don't mind the gore.
