🐝 Not book related but we found this little guy on our walk today at deaths door . A bit of sugar water and a rest he was ready to set off on his journey again 🐝
It‘s fascinating how long their little tongues are 🥰

This oversized picture book was very informative about Honey Bees 🐝. It talked about how cultures throughout history viewed the bees. For instance, the ancient Egyptians thought they came from Ra‘s tears. It goes into the evolution of bees, pollination, and bee keeping. Great book!

Tamra How fun, I‘ll check it out from the library. This may help my daughters fear of bees. 🐝 5y

This oversized book is absolutely beautiful, not to mention packed with accurate and intriguing honeybee facts. Socha's illustrations are full of dark whimsy, turning a nonfiction read into a laugh out loud experience. Some of the text might be a bit densely packed for young readers, but this would be an excellent reference book to pick up and read short snippets from with your budding beekeeper. A must-add for our apiary library!
