A book about “the future of work” from 2013. As someone who has worked online from home for 18+ years it simultaneously feels a bit late to the party (as of 2013) and a bit outdated (post-2020). Interesting & nostalgic in many places, a bit tedious & boring in others.

To start with most important idea: the book is not easy to read for everyone, but the story of Scott Berkun working at Wordpress is a lesson for life. You cannot climb a mountain only for a view, to see the top of it you should be prepared for the journey. You cannot reach the top without training your body. You have the possibility to take an helicopter but would you miss the beauty of a journey?
