I read the screenplay and it,s such a fun literary thriller! And the same trouble experienced by Ben Franklin.

What if Ben Franklin were super shy and never shared his inventions? This book is geared toward shy elementary school students and helping them to not hide their light.
Meanwhile, I was thinking “oh lord, I hope he has copyright locked down so his inventions don‘t get stolen!” 😂
I especially like the pages about his love of reading. 📚 #booksbrewsandbooze #benfranklin #benfranklinandhisnotebooks #benhorowitz #susanavishai #benjaminfranklin
Interesting, but a little slow.

Listened to this on Audible. Lots of good advice. His is an interesting life to hear about. #AudioMemoir
I enjoyed this look into a very fascinating man. It explores his childhood, personal life, his business life, morals and ideas. I found it to be quite entertaining. 🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩

The undeniable value and valor of this man's life makes any book about him a good read. I love the parts about his walking up from the wharf and into Philly. But I do wish he had written it just a few years sooner. Nevertheless, a worthy read. Just not a "pick".
I denied myself the pleasure of contradicting him abruptly ..... How often do we fail to follow Ben's sage advice?
Franklin's folksy, colloquial prose still feels almost modern. It transcends time and space. His rise from runaway to apprentice to author, scientist, and statesman is an inspirational triumph of the common citizen. He is a man of saucy wit and wisdom. As Walter Isaacson wrote, he is the founding father who winks. I am convinced he invented a time machine.

There are many things I love about the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin... But my absolutely favorite might be his description of himself as "Perhaps ... too saucy & provoking"
