This isn't breaking any new ground in fantasy (lots of common tropes in here). But I did laugh a lot and overall I recommend it.

So it seems like I got the job at the library! We finalized the schedule and I start Tuesday! I'm super excited, and relieved because I definitely needed this.

I have been failing at reading this month. It's been a rough one. We are having a bit of a family emergency, I'm still doing interviews for jobs, and I have been battling headaches and migraines. So hopefully I can sit down with one of these today, I need the mental vacation.

This book is so adorable! I was expecting something kind of shallow, but it has a lot of heart to it so far.

I have an early morning tomorrow, so sadly I'll have to put off the rest until the evening.
