Four women--friends, family, rivals--turn to online dating for companionship, only to run afoul of a tech-savvy killer using an app to target his victims in this thriller from New York Times bestselling author Joy Fielding. A husband's death, a difficult divorce, a brutal dumping, dissatisfaction with a boring relationship: for various reasons, four women turn to the app "Mr. Right Now," hoping to right-swipe their way to love and happiness. Paige and Heather are cousins, locked in a lifelong rivalry that recently culminated in Heather taking Paige's boyfriend for herself, although now Heather isn't quite sure she wants him. Paige's mother, Joan, is trying to get back on her feet after the death of the love of her life two years ago. And Paige's longtime friend, Chloe, is trying to replace an abusive ex-husband as soon as the divorce papers are signed. Together, the women are navigating the choppy waters of online dating, until one of them unwittingly makes a date with a killer, starting the clock on a race to save her life. New York Times bestselling author Joy Fielding has written a complex, electrifying thriller about friendship, jealousy and passion--a deadly combination.

4¼⭐| Narration 😁=Very Good
To me, the most significant issue with this book is that it is marketed wrong, it‘s more domestic suspense than mystery thriller. Overall, I rather enjoyed this, although, there was one thing that happened that felt like it came out of left-field for me. Other than that, I recommend this. It even felt a little educational-ish. And that ending, it was kind of...well, let‘s just say I wasn‘t really disappointed with it.

I listened to the audio, which was well done. This was less of a thriller than I‘d expected, as much of the book focused on Paige and her family and their relationships, as well as Chloe. The POV changes often throughout the book. There were a lot of characters to hate in this book, including of course, the killer. Cont in comments...

LibraryCin So, the ending. I‘m trying to keep it really vague. The end was a surprise, but not the usual twist, then shock kind of fast surprise. It was a slower dawning of what happened, as characters continue about their business. Still a surprising ending, but it came on a bit differently, more slowly. Well done, I thought! I do wonder if there will be a sequel 4y

Paige Hamilton has joined a dating agency.
Just trying to get back out there she unwittingly attracts the notice of a deranged killer.
But three other women close to Paige also join the online agency, her mother, friend Chloe and cousin Heather.
Little do any of them realise that they are in grave danger.
The killer is determined to find another victim and if it can't be Paige then one of the others will just have to do and fill her place instead.

A really tense read with lots of family drama and some serial killer action for good measure! Four Bostonian women end up get involved with a dating app and we watch helplessly as the situation rapidly spirals out of control. Who will the next victim be?

Interesting story. It's a little lacking in drama with the serial killer though, I wanted more build up with him. I also wanted a better resolution. I found the ending cleverly done but for me personally I didn't like it. It resolved the story too quickly without enough detail. I did enjoy the relationships between Paige and her mom plus the added conflict with her cousin #TBR #WinterGames #TeamElectricSex

“All The Wrong Places” wasn‘t my cup of tea. Sold as a thriller, this book is a little more chick-lit than suspense. I enjoyed some of the characters and their story lines but overall this is a 2 star read for me.

My full review is up on my blog now 📚

I‘ve ready almost every book by Joy Fielding and loved them. This one had all the makings of another one - great characters, evil bad guy...I was reading it on a tablet so I didn‘t realize it was the last page until I swiped to the next one. She just ended the book with a cliff hanger ...not happy

I normally love Joy‘s books but this one fell a little flat for me. I was disappointed with the lack of suspense. It was more chick lit than thriller for me.
