“Maya Angelou used her voice every way she could.“
I would use this book in a classroom for a quick read or for children to read on their own as independent practice to build their confidence in reading.

This book is written in a more younger child, pre-k child age range. It's more brief and to the point of the big accomplishments made by the women talked about in this book. Children will love this illustrations!
This story would be perfect for celebrating women leaders who have changed world
“Dream Big, Little One” was written by Vashti Harrison in 2018. This biography/nonfiction discusses bold women who changed the world in black history. I believe this story is very inspiring and is an excellent read overall!
Little Missus got this book as a Christmas present from a dear friend but I was the one most excited about it. It‘s simple, adorable, and interested me in learning more about some of these women, who were introduced to me through this book. Little Missus loves the art and colors.

Super accessible board book version of Little Leaders. Same great art, and much easier to understand text for the littlest kids.
