I did some journaling tonight along with this book and I read some of this book today. I‘ve been alternating between the stream of consciousness writing and the guided journaling prompts.

I‘m still reading this book. I started it on February 17 and I‘m still journaling along with it. I‘ve been enjoying the guided journaling prompts. I was only able to journal before bed last night. I answered 1 journal prompt that asked what challenges I faced yesterday and I filled up 3 pages just to answer it.

I made more progress in this book. I‘m having fun with these guided journaling prompts that I‘m finding on Google. I like the ones I‘ve been finding instead of the journaling prompts this book has. The journal prompts in this book are hard. I‘m still journaling along with this book but I‘m choosing the journal prompts I want to do. I like my approach better and it‘s working for me.

I made more progress in this book. It‘s not on Litsy. I did my Night Pages earlier this evening along with this book. Instead of doing stream of consciousness writing, I looked up easy journaling prompts for beginners and chose the ones I wanted to do. I answered 4 journal prompts in order to fill up 3 pages. I really liked the journal prompts I chose. It was so fun to do the Night Pages that way instead of the way I‘ve been doing them.

I‘m reading My Healthy Noggin by Bokinia Colbert and I highlighted one of the journaling prompts she suggested. Her journaling prompts are really hard. I don‘t think I can do them so I think I‘m going to look up some easy guided journaling prompts for beginners and see if I can use one of them in my Night Pages tonight just to try something different and if I don‘t like it then I‘ll continue doing stream of consciousness writing.

I made more progress in this book just now. There were blank pages to fill in so I decided to do Morning Pages and list the things I‘m grateful for while waiting this morning to see if a contractor would show up at our house today because my mom told me to. I waited between 10-10:30 AM and no one showed up. I finished my Morning Pages by then so I went back to bed. I‘ll be doing Night Pages tonight since there‘s more blank pages to fill in.

kelli7990 This is one of those books where you read a little bit of what the author says and then there‘s blank pages just for journaling so I‘m getting through this book but I‘m making slow progress because I‘m interacting with this book by journaling along with it and that‘s making me take longer to read it but I am enjoying the book. I‘ve never interacted with a nonfiction book in this way. This book is forcing me to take my time with it. 1w

I made more progress in this Netgalley ARC I have on my #roll100 list. I was supposed to read it before it was published but I didn‘t so I‘m reading it on Kindle Unlimited. I‘m still reading this book and journaling along with it when the blank journal pages come up. I‘m doing stream of consciousness writing along with this book. I think the journaling is helping. I probably won‘t finish this book before the end of the month but I‘m enjoying it.

Here‘s my progress on this book. I didn‘t journal when I woke up so I decided to do a journaling thing I‘ve heard about called Night Pages where you write 3 pages of stream of consciousness writing before bed so I did that. It doesn‘t have to be pretty or perfect. It can just be random thoughts that don‘t make sense, you can rant or whatever you want to do. I have enjoyed journaling along with this book and I‘ve highlighted a lot of passages.

I read some of this book today and journaled when I woke up today and just finished journaling before bed and now, I‘m laying in bed on my phone so I‘m going to try to get some sleep.

I wanted to share some things I highlighted from this book I‘m reading called “My Healthy Noggin” by Bokinia Colbert. These 5 things I‘ve highlighted are some things to think about for today. It‘s making me think.

I read some more of this book. I journaled before bed last night and then today when I woke up. I slept through the night last night after I journaled and I played a guided sleep meditation on YouTube when I went to sleep last night. I didn‘t wake up during my sleep once. I usually wake up more than once while sleeping but that didn‘t happen last night. I think the journaling helped. My mind wasn‘t racing at all when I got in bed last night.

I was reading the book My Healthy Noggin by Bokinia Colbert this afternoon. I highlighted these journaling prompts that the author says to incorporate into journaling along with this book. I could do the visualization exercises, the self reflection prompts and gratitude journaling or I could continue doing the stream of consciousness writing like I did today. I don‘t think there‘s a right or wrong way to start journaling.

I just read more of this book this afternoon. There was another empty page for journaling along with this book and I just did some journaling after waking up this afternoon. It turns out that I had a lot to say about Amazon but I feel better. I think I needed to write about it because I stayed up all night last night worrying about it. I‘ve learned that this is part of having Anxiety. If I worry about something, it keeps me up at night.

I just started this book. I like it so far. It has journaling prompts. It mentions stream of consciousness writing which I‘ve done before and I just did my first journal entry along with this book. Taylor Bradshaw (a folk musician I listen to) made a book of creative exercises and I did them. Stream of consciousness writing was one of the exercises. He said he learned about it from a book he read called “The Artist‘s Way” by Julia Cameron.

kelli7990 Stream of consciousness writing is very easy. Just start writing down whatever thoughts come to your mind without thinking about what you‘re writing. I like doing it because I‘ve realized that my thoughts are all over the place. I think that comes with having Anxiety but it seems like it makes my mind be quiet because I think too much about things sometimes. 2w
