Excellent book. I am, of course, in love with Tyrus and Moria. However, I will always be more of an Ashyn, myself. Wonderful, as always, from Kelley Armstrong. I‘m left wanting more, even though this was the last book!

Well, a satisfying conclusion to the series. I liked the choices made by heroes and heroines. The pacing was well done. There were quite a few things tied up at the end, and perhaps a shade quickly.

"Moria stood at his back, dagger raised. Gavril pushed the door. It did not budge. He eyed it and seemed ready to bash his shoulder into it when she whispered, “You cannot fight with a dislocated sword arm, Kitsune. Kick it.”

He hesitated.

“If you fall on your arse, I‘ll not laugh.” She paused. “Or not loudly." "

Forest of Ruin is the final book in the Age of Legends trilogy. I enjoyed this series and love the premise, however there were a couple of things that bothered me about this book.

Firstly the ending was anticlimactic after the massive amount of build-up. Secondly I don't like the way the two twins are represented (more in the comments).

Overall though it is a good end to the trilogy and still a pick for me. 🙂

Finally getting to this beauty :) It's been on my shelf for awhile and I guess it's a good time to finish a series at the end of a year. Loving it so far 📖

Hmmm...I didn't want to give this a so-so but the ending was anti-climatic. The rest of the book was what I've come to expect from Kelley Armstrong which makes the ending stand out so much more.

I have a problem, my problem is that I literally salivate at stacks, shelves, and piles of books. Then I have to buy them or check them out. My current reading/TBR from the library pile.

Really enjoyed it. It wrapped up all the loose ends and was a quick and easy read. The ending felt a bit abrupt but made sense. Definitely recommend this trilogy if you like fantasy, horror, and romance. It was a good blend of the three.
