Pickpick

This volume contains the first 3 episodes of the series. I love the Grimm‘s fairy tales. When the book ends, readers get to read the actual Grimm versions that inspired the chapters. I absolutely LOVED the concept for this series. Those tales are already dark and intense but the authors upped those factors. I thought Alice was a nice diversion from most YA heroines. The only bad thing I can say about the story was that it needed more editing.

Pickpick

This review is actually for the Complete Grimm Chronicles box set, which I had all in one file on my Kindle. I think it was 12 books total, around 1823 pages. I really enjoyed this why urban fantasy series. The main character is great. The premise, although in itself perhaps not unique, had some really clever elements I haven't come across before. The writing is not perfect. But I'm glad I read it.

just finished prince charming must die! title reminds me of the movie romeo must die. the book is very straightforward, with very little nuances. i liked it but it was too straightforward that there was not a lot of buildup when alice killed prince charming. would love to read the next 11 books
