pickA young girls gets a job as a servant to a witch. She can‘t go home- she hates her step dad so decides to stick it out. Trouble ensues and she finds herself learning about a world of creatures and magic she never knew existed. Plot, storyline and characters were great- the writing was just okay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 stars!
pickAs a super fussy reader it‘s rare to find a book that I fall into almost straight away but this was a rare one. It‘s such a gentle easy to read book with wonderful characters. I was shocked to find out the author was a local to me as I was sure she must have been American or English! Would recommend this one to anyone who loves a fantasy. 5 stars.
Salem loves his humans. Luckily this is an e book and not an old fashioned one…I can read this one handed!
We did a thing…..meet Salem! We were taking Peace‘s diabetic cat food to a rescue and this little man was there. He has quite a story from such a little life, being the only one of his litter to survive. I had to bring him home. He is also the perfect reading buddy as all he wants is to play and sleep with his humans.
