Mehso-so

I had such high hopes for this book but it didn't quite live up to them. Its a shorter story than most but it doesn't feel short at times. It has the premise of a good thriller but that's lost along the way The identity of the killer is obvious early on so its not much of a twist when finally revealed. I did find the story interesting and loved all the references to authors and books. #Netgalley 3*

Mehso-so

I really fancied this one from the write up about it but was a little disappointed.
It sounded fantastic but I found it quite a slow burner, it took basically the whole book to warm up and only within the last few pages you basically got the whole point of the whodunnit scenario
I loved the idea of a thriller set in the book dealers world but it just centred around Will and his paranoia of anonymous letters due to his shady past as a book forger.

Pickpick

Will has secrets from his past that are haunting him now.
When his girlfriend's brother is found attacked and left for dead and sadly dies later Will starts getting sinister, threatening letters from famous dead authors threatening his sins will be found out.
His sins are that of being a book forger.
Fearing for his life he is at the end of his tether as to who is watching and waiting their chance to get him...
