I did not enjoy this book. It contained a lot of fatphobic comments and not a lot of romance. In terms of the comedy I could tell parts were meant to be funny, but I mostly found them annoying. A very disappointing rom com.

This was a fun, quick read! Predictable plot but still fun

A funny, charming and endearing tale of modern love, told through the voice of a witty, yet unlucky in love, writer. I listened to the Audible version, read by the author, and had many laugh-out-loud moments, along with some remarkably insightful and sad times too. I have already sourced more books by this talented author, keen to read more.

I couldn't cope with a main character that couldn't stand up for herself. I couldn't cope with the word shenanigans (which is a wonderful word btw) to be used so often that it makes me cringe.

I do love romance and chick-lit, but this didn't deliver. And I am so sad about it. The cover is gorgeous too!

But life is too short to read the books you don't enjoy. Moving to the next one!
