It took me a while to finish this because I put it down for a few months. I think that was partly because I didn't want the series to end and partly that there were just a lot of battles that were just okay. It was a satisfying ending to the 6 books, but I definitely liked the first quartet better. I enjoyed Aidane's POV the most. She was a really great addition to the cast of main characters.

I'm excited to see how this wraps up the plot lines from the previous five books set in this world, though I'm sad to see it all end. Also, check out this gorgeous cover!
