I've read a lot of YA books of late yet none of them have had the same level of language used as there is in this book. I love the way the author describes the New New York. I've never been but I can almost picture the scene. This was a unique book and takes us away from the usual YA style writing that I'm used to but it was quite refreshing to get this new take on it. I think Giacomazzo has done well & wouldn't mind reading more from her.
