From the big things -- like fight scenes or car chases -- to the way he describes a Washington D. C. restaurant, to little touches like the way that someone smuggles information out of China, Goldberg is at the top of his game -- which is an accomplishment. I think I've read almost 30 of his books and there are maybe one or two that are more satisfying than Killer Thriller.

There is a lot to love about this plot with its twists, turns, fast pacing, & plenty of humor. I also think that Ian‘s character was more likable this time around. Margo though, she was probably my favorite character. She was full of surprises & she also kept Ian both in check & on task. This was an enjoyable novel. Danger was present but not overdone, intrigue was prominent but not unrealistic. The sprinkling of humor was also a plus.
