Third and final book of this historical romance with murder and mayhem. I enjoyed the fun writing of the wallflowers of high society of the 1880s in New York. Happily ever after.

I arrived late yesterday and what did I find in my door? A surprise box! 🎁Thank you @mabell I am very grateful for this surprise! 😍So beautifully wrapped. ❤️Let see what is inside🤔
Happily, amidst familiar faces from the “Apart from the Crowd” series, I excitedly joined the adventure which kicked off immediately as Temperance stages her great escape from a coffin! With Jen Turano‘s usual light and witty writing, the story flies along with twists and turns in each chapter. The characters are delightful, I find this particular cast well-balanced, interesting and the sort with whom I‘d like to have a cup of tea.
#FirstLineFriday: “The first inkling Miss Temperance Flowerdew had that her rather mundane day was about to turn anything but mundane happened when a closed carriage trundled up beside her, keeping pace with her every step as she walked down the sidewalk adjacent to Broadway.”
