Really loved having illustrator Joshua Heinsz for story time at the store today. He helped created a really great bilingual children‘s book. Check it out!

Tracy Kyle signing my boys‘ book at #alaac18! She was very sweet. This book is perfect for preschoolers. It‘s bright and colorful and incorporates Spanish words and phrases in a fun and natural way. My pronunciation was put to the test (I‘ve always had problems with learning/speaking Spanish ☹️). Thankfully my guys are forgiving.

My #bookhaul box that I mailed myself from the library conference arrived today. I picked up these 2 beautiful books for the boys. Grandad Mandela (autographed by the illustrator) is a bit too old for them but I look forward to reading it to/with them soon.
