I liked the premise, a serial killer wants to get caught, reads the paper to see if his latest murder in it, then decides he doesn't want to get caught so he must now make an effort to get away with murder. Had high expectations. Writing style fell short for me .
1 hour in #20in4 got me to the end of this book and one book away from a #BookSpinBingo.

Really enjoyed this classic crime book. Not often written from the perspective of a serial killer who wants to get caught!

Started listening to this classic crime book, which is centred on a serial murder and him wanting to be caught! Apparently this was a favourite story for Raymond Chandler, a good feel so far.
