gradcat @Andrew65 There are only three books in the series, and as I remember, they were a bit strange, but my mother & I both liked the books. It‘s the David Loogan series. More recently he wrote a stand-alone (haven‘t read it) called...kind of a neat title.The Man in the Crooked Hat 5y
