Finally, I've decided to start reading again! With this highly acclaimed book! I hope it rekindles the joy of reading that has been screenjacked for so long.
Certainly not an easy, fun or entertaining read, but a necessary one in our current political moment and world climate. I would have given up on this book in high school but I‘ve lived enough now to understand it and see current scary parallels. I don‘t think our country will ever get to the point of 1984, but just seeing parallels right now is plenty scary enough. Glad I‘m reading it. #greatamericanread
