I'm going back to Arrian. War, Greeks, Alexander. I also listened to a bunch of Emperors of Rome podcasts this week. Hence a book haul of non fiction Roman books. Also, new nails. Dramatic black with silver dust to mimic deep space. The stars one is the Aquarius constellation. #summerread #newbooks

Saturday night is .. Hockey night in 🇨🇦. Leafs in DC, Matthews fights Ovi. Pens in Montreal. Alexander still but making progress. #readingandwatchinghockey

So...two games.. here's hoping both are exciting one on the 📺, one on the iPad. Still reading Alexander's war travels. Slowly but this seems to be the only book keeping my interest right now. I'm in a rough reading patch.

It will be a dual watch tonight or at least trying to. Habs in Pittsburgh to battle the Pens. Ottawa is in Toronto to face the Leafs. On top of that ⭐️ are hosts to the Jets. Abundance of choices. I'm following Alexander on his way to Miedia. #readingandwatchinghockey

Hockey season starts tonight. Leafs battle the Habs in Toronto. Tavares, Matthews, Marner, Andersen and company great to war for the next 7 months. Karlsson out West, starts for the first time as a 🦈. Go time to #readandwatchhockey

Game 5. The Cup could be Ovechkin's tonight. Tyr has fallen and Alexander the Great is on its way to Egypt. Still reading book 3.

Might be the last game of the season. October is far far away...

Starting book 3. Alexander has won at Issu and Darius is on the run. Will 🌸push his team to be better or will The Great 8 keep his team motivated and grab a 3-1 series lead ? #readingandwatchinghockey

Game 3. Will Kuznetsov play? Will the Knights bounce back? Questions questions... I'm almost done with book 2 in Arrian's Alexander the Great war stories. This was a lazy day sitting under the parasol, enjoying the weather and not doing much.

As the sun is fading I'm finishing book 1 of 7. No chapters but books. I'm pacing my reading because descriptions of one battle or siege or surrender o e after the other can get tedious in a way but so far I'm enjoying the journey.

Game 7. Caps in Tampa. It's do or die. There is no try. So let's rock the red and cheer for the great 8.
The Campaigns of Alexander is excellent.

To one Alexander to another. One is rocking the red. I find that my cure to book hangover of non fiction preferably ancient greek or roman kind still works.
