Actually finished this a few weeks ago. It was a really fun adventure as far as these books are concerned. Well written, lots of twists, turns and ending options. A pick if you're wanting a fun, quick, nostalgic read.

Pure nostalgic charm 💚💙💜
Choose Your Own Adventure books were some of my favorites to purchase at school book fairs. I saw this while shelving at the library last week and couldn't resist taking a journey back in time. I loved reading through all 27 possible endings and now I'm wishing they made these reads for adults too.
I used this to introduce Choose Your Own Adventure books to my reading intervention kids. Some of my 7th grade boys were super into it, even when other CYOA were available. The basic plot is that your village‘s poisoned well can be purified by a unicorn horn, so you set off to find one. Lots of fun unicorn related lore and fantasy elements here.
I loved the Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid, especially the "girly" ones. A first edition of The Magic of the Unicorn appeared at the used bookstore, so I grabbed it. My inner ten year-old is squealing. #bravegirls #chooseyourownadventure #childrensbooks #fantasy #usedbookstoresareawesome
