Street Angel: (2c Edition)
Street Angel: (2c Edition) | Jim Rugg, Brian Maruca

Harry Potter, Bruce Wayne, Annie, and Oliver Twist can go #&% themselves! There's a new orphan in town. Homeless teenager, Jesse "Street Angel" Sanchez cuts school and uses her skateboard and kung-fu action to fight ninja gangbangers, mad scientists, cops, time-traveling pirates, J-horror cliches, an evil version of her future self, ancient gods, rednecks, hunger... Funny, violent, irreverent - everything you love in comic books (except sex)! The creators of Afrodisiac present the Princess of Poverty - Street Angel!

This is my #bookhaul from the #BaltimoreComicCon today. I love this con because they really showcase authors and artists. We spent the whole day wandering the floor.

Finally got around to reading this! Snagged it on free comic book day. This story was so cute and I was kind of hoping (SPOILER) that she‘d keep the dog and that they‘d be sidekicks. 😭💕🐾 Glad Princess had a loving home though. Street Angel is my new favorite ninja. 😎👊🏼💥

Actually read Street Angel‘s Dog—the Free Comic Book Day Issue. And oh my, is this one seriously fun and gorgeous to look at. The artwork is phenomenal! Could stare at it all day, especially the colors. What happens when Jesse Sanchez, deadliest girl alive, rescues a dog?!? Well, she gets a new sidekick, of course! At least, she does until Jesse learns the dog is lost and someone is looking for her. A delightful, fun read and yes, more please!
