There are a lot of great ideas to bring into your classroom and I appreciate Roberts‘s humor and encouraging view of students. I wanted more specificity and detail, instead of the overview Roberts tends toward. This is still well worth a read, though. This has me thinking about how I‘ll approach reading next year. The shift from content to skills is my biggest take away, something I‘ll no doubt be struggling to get right for the rest of my career.
