So I hated listening to poetry but I did enjoy the overall theme of this collection and a lot of the message. I'm probably going to go back and read it some time. I listened for #readharder.

This was an interesting poetry read! I came across this one at my local Walmart, and read it in a day... I might re-read it and add more to the review. 📖📖📖

3 out of 5 stars.

I did really like this poetry collection and I connected to a lot of the poems.

The switching up of page-long paragraphs to small, tiny poems was throwing me off a bit, which caused me to take far longer to finish this collection than normal collections take me.

All in all, I would recommend this and it takes courage to put yourself and your feelings into the world like this. ❤️

This is more like a journal than it is poetry. I‘ve struggled with some of these newer style poets, and this was one of them. Maybe someone in their teens or twenties can relate to this better than I did.
