It was very evident to me within the first few short stories that he was so creative. His stories were so well thought out and crafted beautifully. He also had a range. He didn‘t just write gothic horror stories and poems, he also wrote sea tales, a science fiction hoax, and detective stories.

Day #5 of my 7 days of Poe, and still my autocorrect thinks I want to type ‘Pie‘. 😒🥧 I couldn‘t find the actual book listed, so I grabbed something close. The version pictured is actually sort of a weird copy that you don‘t see that often. It‘s from Time Warner Libraries (1991). The art was done by a tattoo artist friend of mine who is crazy talented! Google ‘Roger Pearson Tattoos‘ if you want to see more... 😉

mypoesoul @Zelma Thanks! When he offered to sell it to me, I was all over it. He didn‘t want to initially, but I told him it would have a good home, with my Poe stuff. I had Michael‘s frame it up for me. 😉 7y
