There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.

Not book related; this weekend while visiting NYC I got to go to Genius Studio‘s where they had interactive art inspired by Pablo Picasso. What a fun experience! If you‘re in NYC definitely check it out.

Hope everyone is having a great reading weekend!

Pickpick

This is a great B novel that could be used for PR on an artist study involving Pablo Picasso. This book goes into extreme detail about Picasso‘s life, his art, & so much more! This book displays his art work and pictures of Picasso throughout his years. The back adds a timeline for his life including major events as well as a glossary with key terms the book uses. It was an awesome book to read and now I‘m a Picasso expert! 🎨 👨🏻‍🎨🇪🇸

WendyV If I implemented a partner artist study assignment, I would provide each group with a goal setting worksheet to help students stay organized (UDL 6.1). By having multiple biographies of different artists for students to study about, I would be using EL 28. Here‘s a bunch of different Pablo Picasso lesson plans that can be used in your classroom. https://www.incredibleart.org/files/picasso.htm #UCFLAE3414SP18 7y
