From award-winning author McCall Hoyle comes a new young adult novel, Meet the Sky, a story of love, letting go, and the unstoppable power of nature. It all started with the accident. Listening to the beginning of a few audiobooks to listen to in the 🚗 is the only thing keeping me sane right now!

We are usually very light packers, but this time it‘s a full load for hiking adventures, urban jaunts, gifts for family, and activities and food for all the time we‘ll be in the car. 😂 The broken washing machine & A/C on the fritz hasn‘t helped. 😫

So

Cathythoughts Oh stop ! The Washington machine 🙄.... I‘m sure it will lovely to get on the road 👍🏻♥️ 5y
alisiakae @Cathythoughts It will be so nice! And we‘re 🤞🤞 the A/C doesn‘t die completely while we‘re gone, our fur babies would not be happy about that! 5y
LeahBergen Gah!! Enjoy your holiday! 5y

Listening to this book was wonderful! It happened to be extra thundery while I was listening which made the experience much more immersive! I really love the main character that tells the story. She is likable but flawed and it makes her so real. I recommend this book!

YA suitable for middle grade, even. Simple and sweet. 90s TV perfect ending. Hurricanes, horse rescue, family illness, numerous other social skill qualities without language and detailed romance.

Oh there is some bad decision making in this book. Bad, bad decisions. But I enjoyed the book even when I was yelling “Sophie don‘t do anything else stupid.”
