Yesterday, it rained for most of the day - the perfect type of reading weather. With the teapot filled with lemon ginger tea, I was tucked up on the couch with a Persephone novel I‘ve been anxiously waiting to read. In the introduction, Lucy Mangan recommends, “Clear an afternoon. Buy cake. Make tea. Declare yourself not at home to family or callers, settle down and enjoy.” She didn‘t have to convince this reader to do anything else! 📖 ☕️ 🍋 🍃
