20/150 This is truly one of the oddest alien invasion stories I've ever read. It starts out like an episode of The X-Files with weird bugs that cause those stung to suffer strange psychedelic experiences. It then expands to a much larger conspiracy of alien invasion and government cover-up. I enjoyed 99% of it, just found the ending a little too optimistic after the rest of the books was much darker.

It began with a bug in a garden.

dabbe In real life, that would have me shriek “EEK“ and jump on the garden bench. 😀 2y
RamsFan1963 @dabbe In this story, that would be a good idea. A sting from this bug causes weird psychedelic effects and memory loss. Best to avoid at all costs. 2y

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.
