Finished the last book in this series and I‘m SO sad about it! It had everything: librarian witches, mediums, cute undercover DEA agents, takes place in my home state of Iowa...just awesome.

Finished the Abby and Ophelia series and WOW I was impressed. They‘re less urban fantasy than cosy mysteries, with magic. Not fireballs and levitations I normally like, but rune casting and ley lines and crystals and herb poultices. I really cared for the characters and each story was compelling (maybe a bit rushed in parts) and the series ended on a high. It was as harmless and gentle and cosy as a pot of peppermint tea. Loved it.
