I was a psych major in college and I thought I had this one figured out pretty early on in the book. I was wrong. Patterson does another amazing job of telling stories!

Alex Cross is investigating a case where women in Hollywood are being brutally murdered, and a journalist is receiving emails from the killer signed “Mary Smith”. This was a really quick read, not as engaging as some other Alex Cross novels but still enjoyable.

to me I felt like I could relate to this book. I will not say why but this book actually made me cry which is surprising because it's James Parterson lol
